reviews and essays appear whenever we feel like it and may change without notice. this site isn’t a canon, just a flipbook. still, we think it’s worthwhile. art is cool. learning is neat. none of it matters without people. maybe something here will speak to you. maintaining this site helps us reflect on what we give our time to and express why it matters.
the site updates nightly—unless it breaks or our internet goes down, which it probably will. a custom python script compiles logs from letterboxd, anilist, last.fm, and a local media-tracking spreadsheet we update sporadically. markdown content is converted to html, then everything is uploaded to neocities. the site should work on mobile and without javascript. it should be easy to keep updated.
"should" is an unforgiving word we’d hate to meet in a dark alley alone at night.
